Gotland Sheep in North America

Pedigrees and Gotland genetics percentages are key components of the Gotland upbreeding program.  In 2006 a handful of passionate fiber artists and specialty livestock producers selected Foundation Breeds, imported the first Gotland semen, and used Artificial Insemination to begin to establish the Gotland sheep in North America.
